Low poly modelling project - I was asked to model a range of assets at the lowest possible polycount. These were for use in Dflow software which had simple shading and lighting at the time of the project, which meant that the poly flow was not inportant and I could take liberties in order to reduce the poly's.

The first example here was for a 'British Townhouse', in this case the end of terrace version, with interior. As you may note this entire model was less than 10,000 poly's (with three cars and a section of the street).

I also modeled up several cars (3 in this scene), as well as street furniture.

I have since also modelled a series of kitchen items such as microwaves, fridges etc for optional use in the house.

This scene currently uses 3, 1024 maps. This project is for output to go into D-flow using the free Ogremax plug-in for export which can only support diffuse mapping.

'Midcar' :This is the third version: It has much reduced texture use, so this version is now just under 2500 tri's but with 1 png, no larger than 256x256 pixels:

this also means that end users can change the car colour in D-flow. There is no interior on this car.

I decided to model two ' British icons': The phonebox is 9.5k tris (featured below), and post box at 412 tris. Both use two very small bitmaps
