I have recently worked on some CGI pieces for a recent première of Dominic Symonds play Sweet FA, which is set in and around Hollywood during the 1920/30's featuring the short lived career of Peg Entwistle and the rise and fall of Fatty Arbuckle.

For this I have built an environment, suggesting down town Hollywood and leading up to the hollywoodland sign (as it was in the day).

Featured here are two cars. The Mercedes suggesting the opulence, with the Ford model A helping to transport us along the journey.

There will be several other shorter shots/sequences for other scenes, which will also feature pre-recorded and live video footage.

To represent the journey from down  town Hollywood, I modelled a second car. This is a quick render for this site, and doesn't show shadows on the 'ground' as it should have done.
